A child asked me today,

“What is God?”

I am not a Christian, nor do I believe in their deity.

I responded by opening the newspaper in my lap to the obituaries.

“This is God.” I said.

I then found a picture of a couple with a new born child.

“And this is God.”

“Really?”

“It’s as close as you’ll get without being thought crazy by others, little man.”
